Sweet Potato Chilli

I can’t believe it’s almost spring, which means it’s almost our 1 year wedding anniversary!!! We are going to Tasmania for a week for our anniversary and I still haven’t processed that it’s in 3 weeks! We’ve been so busy with the house that we haven’t given it much thought. This sweet potato chilli is more of a winter recipe but I still love it on cool spring nights, because it’s vegetarian it’s lighter than beef or chicken chilli.

Tomato & Parsley Risotto

Oh my gosh!! You guys, we signed the land contract yesterday!!!!! EEEEEKKK!!! This is really happening! We are going to be home owners! I shared a video of our block on my Instastories. It’s a 1 acre block in the outer suburbs of Brisbane, it’s quite and perfect for our dogs and eventually for children to have room to grow. Oh that down there? That’s tomato & parsley risotto, it’s fresh, light and delicous!

happy sunday friends!! how is your weekend going? did you do anything fun last night? or do you have fun mothers day plans today? do they include brunch?? they should totally include brunch! we took Marc’s Mum out for dinner last night to this awesome old time music hall, they have a whiskey bar, over 70 rums from around the world and live music. it was such a fun night! and today i am cooking brunch for Marc and my parents in law, they stayed with us last night.
