Bacon is a wonderful thing. I have chatted with a few vegetarian friends about what if anything they miss most and usually it’s beef. But I think if I was vegetarian I would miss bacon most. We eat bacon usually 2-3 times a week. I saw a recipe for ham, capsicum and cheese scones and immediately knew bacon would make it better. So I made you these bacon, cheddar & rosemary scones.
Hi Guys!! How’s your weekend? Has it been action packed? We finally have a weekend where we don’t have plans, due a party being cancelled because of flooding. It’s been nice to catch up on a few things around the house and not feel rushed. We are going to IKEA today, Marc has never been! Anywho, this week I wanted to share a easy to make but super impressive brunch dish with you, sweet potato, bacon & feta quiche!
I love quiche and they are so flexible, once you have the egg mixdown you can literally make any flavour you want!
Are you a Mac & Cheese lover? I am, it was my favourite way to eat pasta as a kid. But now I like my Mac & Cheese with extra mix ins.
Bacon is always a go to, but chorizo can work, cherry tomatoes add a pop of freshness and tuna is delicious.
For this version I added roasted cauliflower & smoked bacon. The cauliflower add a slight nutty flavour & the bacon is cripsy, smoky & well bacon just makes everything better right?
This saturday is going to be all about Marc, it’s his birthday 🙂
We don’t have a lot of plans, but we are going to the movies and to dinner with friends. Marc will prbably want to have a pretty chill saturday morning. I am planning on making him special breakfast, maybe my mocha pancakes…
I adore my husband, it’s his birthday this saturday so i decided that this week the blog will be all about him!
Marc is an amazing man, he is very laid back and tends not to get bothered by much. He is genuine and a really great friend, whenever I get upset or angry he is always there to calm me down. Having anxiety has been tough but Marc has been there to support me every step of the way, and no matter what he has never faltered.
