I’m coming at you today with some alliteration in this smoky spicy sweet snack mix, it’s almost as much fun to say as it is to eat it!
This snack mix is more savoury than sweet, but you can taste the honey it brings great balance to this mix.
I used popcorn, cashews, honey cheerios, mini pretzels and oat crackers all things I love. The one thing every great snack mix needs is no duds.
You know the stuff that no one wants that is always all that’s left at the end, don’t add any duds to your snack mix!
I made this snack mix to take for our trip to Tasmania on Friday. We are going for 5 days and I am so excited! Whenever we travel within Australia I like to take some snacks with me, for the flight or just to snack on during the day while we are out and about.
It helps save money as you are not paying for expensive snacks. The other thing we always take with us is our own reusable water bottles. You get caught out and pay over $5 for a bottle of water once and you remember to take your own from then on.
I might need to make another batch of this snack mix to take with us, it’s so good! I can’t stop at just one handful!
If you are like me, or are going to make this for a party, maybe make a double batch. It will seem like a lot, but trust me it will get demolished!
This smoky spicy sweet snack mix is off the chain! Wait, do people still say that?? I say it all the time… But I also listen to 90’s a lot so… no judgement. Yeah?
