whenever the weather starts to cool i inevitably start thinking about cozy jumpers, ugg boots and hot chocolate. so i wanted t share my favourite hot chocolate recipe with you, raspberry hot chocolate

it’s quick and easy to pull together and while familiar with the chocolate the raspberry makes this just a little different. i love raspberry and chocolate, it’s a absolute classic combo. which now has me thinking what other flavours could i make? what flavours do you love with chocolate? i’m working on a dark chocolate passion fruit version that i will share with you as soon as i have perfected it.

this raspberry hot chocolate is definitely indulgent which is exactly you need on a cold winters day. but i wouldn’t drink this too often….
if you don’t want to mortgage your house to buy fresh raspberries i completed understand and you can totally use frozen raspberries here and you can’t even tell the difference

raspberry hot chocolate

Servings 1

Ingredients

  • 2 & 1/2 cups milk
  • 60 grams milk chocolate
  • 60 grams dark chocolate
  • 12 raspberries
  • 60 ml chambord liquer(optional)
  • whipped cream and berries to serve

Instructions

  1. place the raspberries into a saucepan and crush slightly, add the milk and the chocolate.

  2. place over medium heat and stir constantly until steaming, do not boil.

  3. remove from heat, divide the chambord between 2 mugs, divide the hot chocolate between the two mugs and top with a dollop of whipped cream and berries. serve and enjoy!!
