Happy Sunday Friends! How is your weekend going so far? We saw 2 movies back to back at the cinema yesterday with friends, we saw Fate of the Furious and Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2. They were both so good, we are huge fast and the furious fans and I loved the nod to Paul Walker they added in this movie and for me this movie was less predictable, there was lots of twists. And Guardians of the Galaxy OMG! Huge Marvel fan right here I LOVED IT!! It had humour and action and baby Groot and who doesn’t love baby Groot??? I don’t want to say to much and spoil it for you but it was amazing!!
This morning I am sharing my new obsession smoothie bowls!!
I had an Acai bowl a couple of months ago, and can i say, it was life changing. I am a smoothie lover but the idea of pouring my smoothie into a bowl and eating it with a spoon just felt like it was missing the point of why I had smoothies for breakfast. Because they are quick to make and i can drink them on the train to work if i needed to. But this acai bowl changed all that. I have been converted to a smoothie bowl lover! You get your smoothie, pour it in a bowl and add more fruit and crunchy toppings it’s texture heaven.
How can you not want one right now? I wish i was eating one while typing this. They are so good! And you can add whatever topping you want. Allergic to nuts? no problem swap them out for pepitas. Love coconut add toasted shaved coconut. Don’t want to spend your life savings on raspberries? I hear you add banana instead or rockmelon. Seriously make you fave smoothie and add whatever toppings you want.
You guys please make a smoothie bowl. If you are a smoothie lover I promise you will love smoothie bowls. Just remember the key to a great smoothie bowl is that it needs to be thick. So make sure you use lots of frozen fruit this will ensure it is thick and luscious. Share you smoothie bowls with me over in Instagram using #rachaelsfoodielife
