this week i’m bringing you a breakfast for days when you want something easy or something you can take with you and still know your getting a good breakfast in. this golden mango smoothie is one of my mid week breakfast go to’s.
i love smoothies all year round, even when it’s cold. i just love them, they are easy and i know i’m getting in plenty of fruit and sometimes veggies as well. they just have to be thick and the key to a thick smoothie is using frozen fruit or veggies.
i like my smoothies to be spoonable, so if smoothie bowls are your thing this recipe would be perfect for it. it’s got a tropical feel with mango, pineapple and banana i added some turmeric because i can stop with turmeric.
top it with some fresh mango or pineapple, coconut flakes, chia seeds and almond flakes. oh that would be amazing! i need to do that!
this smoothie cam from my love of turmeric lattes. i love the sunny colour of this golden mango smoothie.
it makes me happy just looking at it. this is like a little piece of summer for me during winter.

golden mango smoothie
- 1 cup frozen pineapple
- 2 cups frozen mango
- 1 frozen banana
- 2 teaspoons turmeric powder
- 1 & 1/2 cups milk (i used 3/4 coconut & 3/4 almond)
place all ingredients into a blender and blend on high until smooth. Pour into two glasses serve and enjoy!
