happy international beer day!!!!! we totally need a public holiday for international beer day and we need to celebrate with these blood orange shandy’s
i love beer! like i really really love beer. and i have a confession to make…..
this is the first shandy i have ever had! and guys it’s so good! fresh and fruity and light! i think even people who don’t really like beer would love this!
look at those stunning blood oranges^^^^ i die! seriously i can’t stop with blood orange! they are hot pink and i have no control!
i’m not able to find them often so when i do i buy a heap! i just love them! regular oranges have always been a bit meh, like i like them but i don’t excited about them. but blood oranges these babies are a whole other ball game.
it’s not just that they are pink, that’s totally part of it but the flavour is so much better than regular oranges!
if you can’t get blood oranges but you want to make this you could use tangello’s or pink grapefruit or even regular oranges. use your favourite citrus, and make this shandy your way!
how are you celebrating international beer day? are you going to make some shandy’s or just have straight up beer? whatever you choose i hope you enjoy it and have a great weekend! i will be back on sunday with a new brunch recipe that i am so excited to share with you!
on saturday we are going to warwick to see my mum and our granny’s art exhibition, i will be posting on insta stories so be sure to check out what i’m up to!
if you make this recipe or anything else from rachael’s foodie life, make sure to post it and tag me so i can see all of your creations!
